This disk contains the software and documentation for your HCS-II

Below is an index of the files and their purpose:

COMPILE.EXE (v4.01)
- This is the XPRESS compiler which can be run in any DOS window.  Be sure to
  recompile your control program after you upgrade your HCS-II EPROM

  3 new string flags were added in v4.01:
  - %M will output the phone number received if Caller ID is enabled
  - %N will output the name received if Caller ID is enabled
  - %Sx will output a variable as x (2-5) digits with leading zeros
    No decimal point is included with %S

HOST.EXE (v4.00)
- This is the latest version of the HOST program used to interact with your
  HCS-II.  Version 3.63 and higher are Y2K ready. 

PROCESS.EXE
- This program is a simple event log parser.  After you download the binary     
  event file from your HCS-II, use the program to process the data into text.

PROCESS.C/PROCESS.H
- This is the source code for the PROCESS.EXE file.  Feel free to modify it.

XPRESS.PDF
- This is the entire XPRESS manual in PDF format.  You need Adobe Acorbat to 
  read this file.  The reader can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com.
  NOTE - The docs still say v3.62 - An addendum for 4.01 is at the back of
         the document.
